CWU Annual Conference

Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Web Site is Top CWU Branch Web Site
The winners of the CWU's annual branch magazine and website competition were announced at CWU General Conference on Monday 13 June 2005.
Top prize winner of the branch website competition went to Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Branch (www.cwu-ccc.org) while the winner in the branch magazine competition was Coventry Area’s "Communiqué" magazine.
The
website competition was judged by CWU national website editor Abigail Lawrence-Jones.
Abigail said the cwu-ccc.org site is "well-presented" and she especially
liked the colour-coded sections. She commented "Information is clear, concise,
and there is a lot of it – an invaluable tool for branch members. Overall, a fantastic
example of what a branch website should be about."

Thanks to the continuing support of the competition sponsor – Hamilton Direct Bank – the first prize winners in both categories received vouchers to the tune of £150.
The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire branch magazine "OB~SERVER" scored 7/10.
