Young People at Work

Young people are often vulnerable at work, due to their lack of experience in a working environment. They often have little knowledge of trade unions and other sources of help and information. It may be difficult for young people to make their opinions heard or to have their concerns on workplace issues taken seriously.

Young people often have social and other practical problems that they need assistance with. They are also concerned with long-term issues like pensions.

Education and training in work-related skills is another important area of personal development that they may need assistance with.
