HelpMicrosoft Outlook Email SetupSetting up a new email account.These instructions will help you set up a new email account in Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.
Click on Tools on the menu bar, then select "Accounts..." or "Email
Accounts..." from the drop down menu. The menu will vary depending on the version of Outlook
or Outlook Express you are using.
On the Internet Accounts window click on the "Add" button, and select
"Mail...".
On the "Internet Connection" window that opens, type your name as you want it to
appear on the emails you send. Click on the "Next" button. Type your full email address. Click on the "Next" button.
Make sure "POP3" is selected and type the email server details that were given to you
with your email address. Click on the "Next" button.
Type your full email address and password. The password will appear as asterisks **** so it can
not be seen. Tick the "Remember password" box, otherwise you will be asked for your
password every time you collect your email. Click on the "Next" button.
Select the appropriate option depending on your connection. Click on the "Next" button.
If offered the choice, select the appropriate modem depending on your connection. Click on the
"Next" button. Your email account is now set up. Click on the "Finish" button to save the settings.
