Branch Membership

Central Counties Combined Branch, total membership over 2100 members.

BT Group plc

The majority of branch members are employed by the various BT Group plc businesses, based predominantly in and around Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.

• BT Retail: Serves business and residential customers to market other BT businesses.
• BT Global Services: Global managed services and solutions provider, serves organisations worldwide.
• BT Operate: runs communications services for customers over BT's core network and systems.
• Openreach: Owns, maintains the access network to links homes and businesses to other communications providers.

BT Fleet

The branch has BT Fleet members situated in Aylesbury, Banbury, Cambridge, Coventry, Derby, East Oxford, Guildford, Langley, Leicester, Luton, Magna Park (Leicester), Milton Keynes, Northampton, Nottingham, Reading and Watford.

Formerly known as BT UK Mobility (BT Cellnet) before the BT de-merger.

Monteray

Formerly part of BT UK Business Services; the branch has Facilities Management Services members in Monteray.

Portable

Our branch has a number of members in non-BT businesses including:

• Cable & Wireless Communications (Milton Keynes)
• Comtel (Oxford)
• McNicholas (Oxford)
• Seimens (Milton Keynes)
• and in other companies.

Postal

There are also postal technical members employed by RoMec.

We also have retired members, who have remained branch members since retiring from full time occupation.
