According to the latest statistics (May 2008) young people in the UK are drinking more than ever before. Police are warning that drivers who use mobile phones and satellite navigation devices could face dangerous driving charges and up to two years in jail. The year 2008 marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of seatbelt wearing laws in the UK. Vets of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs have confirmed that Chickens at Eastwood Farm, at Shenington near Banbury have tested positive for the H7N2 low pathogenic strain of Avian Influenza disease. The Health Protection Agency is urging people to be aware of the risk of "Tick bites" whether at work or enjoying leisure time in forested, woodland, heathland and moorland areas or suburban parklands.
