BT Pay 2008

As part of the two year BT Pay deal negotiated in 2007 an increase in base pay and pay related allowances of RPI plus 0.5% was agreed with effect from 1 April 2008.

This year’s stage of the two year BT Pay deal is based on the March 2008 RPI figure of 3.8% as published by the Office for National Statistics on 15 April 2008.

London Weighting will also increase with effect from 1st April 2008 by 75% of the increase quoted.

BT have informed us that salary increases should be included within April salaries but that related allowances may not be increased until the following month, due to the short time between the RPI announcement and the pay cut off for April.
